EMCO RunAs Professional - Additional Information

Sometimes you need to execute a certain applications on machines with a specific access level. For example if you want to scan and clean all nodes of your network using some antivirus software you must have administrative rights on each machine and u must logon on that machine so, it's very difficult for network administrators to visit each machine on their network and run antivirus on each machine.

Now you no longer need to visit each machine on your network to execute some applications or processes with specific access rights. EMCO Software has brought a marvelous tool known as EMCO RunAs Professional that empowers network administrators to run different applications with different access levels on different nodes of a LAN.

EMCO RunAs Professional gives more flexibility and power to network administrators by enabling them to specify what programs they want to run and on which machines, along with the access level with which they want to execute that application on the remote machines.

With the ability to san available machines on a LAN for different information, EMCO RunAs also enables users to uninstall stubs on remote machines. Users can provide username, password, domain/workgroup name and different parameters (if required) to execute applications with specified parameters.

EMCO RunAs professional is also an excellent network scanner that can gather a wide variety of information. It collects different hardware and software information including detailed information about processors, network adaptors, processors and memory banks.

Another nice feature of EMCO RunAs Professional is its brilliant filtering option capability. It allows you to apply different filtering options on your scan process. After setting the required filtering options, when you enumerate LAN for available machine it will only list the machines that are according to the selected criteria. For example if a user selects the required domain/workgroup name in the filtering tab and when he switch back to available machines tab and enumerate LAN, then only machines that are on the selected domain/workgroup will be displayed.

• One click scan of all machines available on LAN - EMCO RunAs Professional provides facility of one click scan of all machines available on LAN. So, you don't need to remember or look for the IP addresses of different machines available on your LAN.
• No need to install any client software on remote machines - EMCO RunAs Professional does not require any client side software to be installed on remote machines. So the remote users never know about the scan and virus cleaning process.
• Run different applications with specified access level - The main feature of EMCO RunAs Professional is to enable network administrators to run different applications on remote machines with specified access level over a LAN.
