The new version of Remote Shutdown is able to collect MAC address from remote PCs by four different methods. It allows to collect MAC addresses in a different network environments and, as the result, run WOL task in these environments. Used MAC detection methods can be configured through application preferences, depending on a particular network environment. The new version also helps to address the problem with power peaks that might happen on executing WOL task in environments with a large number of PCs. To reduce power peaks Remote Shutdown can be configured to wake up only a given number of PCs at once and making delays before sending WOL packet to the next group of PCs. |

EMCO Remote Deployment 5 is available with a new look and new features |

The new release of Remote Deployment comes with dozen improvements and new features in different areas. An improved networking module simplifies detection of network PCs and configuring of target PCs for remote deployment. It integrates with the Active Directory to extract information about available network resources within a few moments. Also it allows to export and import a list of target PCs to/from text and CSV files. Other important features in the new release, are generation of EXE installations and MSI packages for existing installation snapshot packages. Produced installations can be used externally for manual deployment. |

Specification of individual configuration for every monitored host and individual monitoring state management for hosts are main features of the new Ping Monitor 4.1. The new release offers a new feature for independent starting and stopping monitoring for selected hosts. This feature is available both in the Free and Professional editions, as well as an ability to reset ping statistics without stopping the monitoring process and other minor improvements. The Professional edition offers an important improvement, that allows to specify custom notification settings for every host. It makes possible to configure the own list of e-mail recipients for a host and define events on which e-mail and tray notifications will be activated. |

A list of remote operations, supported by the latest Remote Shutdown 4.1 is extended to offer even more features. Now the application allows sending text messages to remote PCs. This feature can be very useful for notifying remote users about planned or urgent events. Remote messages can be sent to remote PCs in scope of execution of the corresponding task that can be executed immediately or added into the schedule as other remote tasks. Also new release includes another remote task that makes possible to lock remote desktops. In addition to extending set of remote operations, the new release of Remote Shutdown includes an option to send e-mail notifications about execution of remote tasks. This feature allows administrators to be informed by e-mail about execution of every remote task and result of its execution on every PC. |
